After exciting two days of London Fashion Week I couldn’t wait for Day 3. My friend Laura (who was also with me for Day 2 and is a student at UoW), her friend Mafalda (she is a student at LCF), my friend Laila (also a student from UoW) and me decided to go to a The “LDC London Fashion Week x Boyfriend Magazine Presentation Party”, as we all have never been to something like that before. 6 PM sharp on Tuesday, us three met up in front of the Lone Design Club (LDC) Concept Store at Great Pulteney Street. There was a bodyguard in front of the store as well as someone who checked our tickets, after waiting in line for about 15 min we were finally able to step into the concept store. We were immediately flooded with creativity in every corner of this space, we didn’t even know where to look first. My eyes were instantly drawn to the racks of very playful and fun lingerie, which they’ve put out for Valentine’s day. They were unique and designed in a way I hadn’t seen before. After exploring the store further my mouth just kept on opening more and more as I was so impressed and visually pleased with what I saw. Racks of clothes from different designers, some of whom were in attendance, were neatly placed and arranged in the whole store. One of the collections I was most impressed with was of “Gung Ho London”. Her designs are very playful and artsy with lots of color and patterns. She was also there as the designer of that label and it was amazing being able to talk about the inspirations of said collection. Later on, a musical guest kept us entertained while the staff was preparing the presentation part of the party. Down stairs three models sat on stools with styled looks which made up the presentation. The three looks were very stylish and the models did a great job representing the clothes they wore. After the presentation my friends and me went out to eat and talked about the presentation. It was an amazing experience, especially as it was my first presentation, being there with my friends and having an amazing time holds a special place in in my heart.
